Default Dance Vocal Treatment

During the last week. I have read 1000s of messages about vocal recording and manipulation in this web group. I am new to Pro Tools TDM and I am trying to learn how to create original vocals and catchy vox effects for a club tune I am working on.

Anyway, here is a summary of what I have learnt until now.

Essential plugins needed when treating voices:
Compression to the vocals (from for example Waves C4 any other useful ones)
Some De esser (eg Waves de esser)
Some reverb (eg. from lexiverb)
Is there any point in using Aphex exciter on voices? or any other plugin?

Tricks and Fx.
Auto-tune at extreme levels. (Cher fx)
Filter cuts (using Filterbank EQ)
Chopping the audio with a tool like GRM Tools shuffler)
Reverse reverb for phantom effect on voice.
Double the vox with one take panned L and the other panned R.
Use a harmoniser (any recomendations?)

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

One more thing. Does anyone know what type of treatment euro-dance tunes use to make the vocals sound so nice, wide and exciting. (Eg. DJ Sammy, Gigi D'Agostino, Delerium)

Thanks for the help.
