The KB article is perfectly accurate.

The article explains how to set the analog OUTPUT levels. The max. OUTPUT level for the MTRX and MTRX Studio is +24 dBu.

Yes, the "full" MTRX can be set to a max. analog INPUT level of +30 dBu, but the KB article does not deal with the analog INPUT level.

I hope that clarifies it.
