Finally! my gears are here and I need help please
Ok, now I know my questions might seem a little noob to some of you veteran users, but we all was in the same shoes at one point of time right? Please bare with me guys.
I have my digi 001, triton extreme, and e-mu planet phatt sound module all connected via midi, and via audio. The way I have it setup right now is:
MIDI out from 001 to MIDI in of triton
MIDI out from triton to MIDI in of 001
MIDI thru of triton to MIDI in of e-mu sound module
AUDIO L & R from triton to input 3 & 4 of 001
AUDIO L & R from planet phatt to 5 & 6 of 001
AUDIO MAIN from 001 to my event monitors
So here's the question, is it more logical to use only the L audio output for mono, or L & R as stereo?
Last but not least, can someone please give me a walkthrough on how to sync all 3 gears? I was reading the manuals, but I'm really having difficulty understanding this. I've been using my triton extreme to sequence, sample, etc.. the whole nine so I am fairly new to putting gears together.
If someone can kindly help me out I would really appreciate it!
I am using 5.3.1 for XP.
