I use an external pre amp (Millennia) and PCM 90 reverb along with a Mac Mini
with Apollo 8 Dual as the interface. It had been working fine until a while back I had to send my Millennia back for repair so I started using the built in Apollo pre amp. I finally got my Millennia back the other day and hooked it back up. I've, out of habit, always used lines 7 & 8 for my mic channels and 5 & 6 for my reverb channels. For some reason line 7 was getting a weaker signal than line 8. After making sure my mics were OK, I then tried using lines 5 & 6 for my pre amp and all was good. I then tried lines 7 & 8 for my reverb channels and got no signal. I wondered if something had changed when I started using the Apollo 8 pre amps so I then reset the Apollo 8 but can't for some reason re-set the I/O path in Pro Tools because the "delete path" button won't highlight. So, if anyone has any idea what's going on I would sure appreciate it. I've hit the wall.
