Let’s say I’m using my EL8 Distressor, I can use it as an insert and get audio in and out without a problem.

If I record / print a track it’s way out behind the original.

Ok , no problems, easy to align but why?
I can calculate the delay and add it to the delay compensation in the I/O though that makes it worse, if I leave delay compensation off then it sounds fine in real time though all the plugins are out.

Am I missing something simple?
