Avid - Idea Scale - Are you really listening?
I just finished reading about all of the new Pro Tools 10 features. While I have to say that I think the majority of the new features are awesome and are going to be really helpful, I couldn't help to notice that the top 11 things were not addressed. As of this post, the top 12 things are:
1. 64 bit - (I understand that this one couldn't have realistically been ready)
2. Freeze Tracks Feature
3. Offline Bounce
4. Folders in the Regions list
5. Channel Strip Presets
6. Marker Improvements
7. Bypass all Plug-ins for a track
8. Phase button on all tracks
9. VST support
10. Bounce to WAV and mp3 at the same time.
11. Multiple Sessions at the same time.
12. Trim knob on audio tracks - Yay!!!!!!
While I understand some of these things couldn't realistically happen, I think the majority could have happened and I can't help but wonder if you really are listening to your customers as you say you are.
