Unhappy 9073 error!!!!!!

Hello

I am getting very random 9073 errors on my setup, it can occur when recording 2 channels of audio for 3 mins or sometimes the system will run fine at 48 channels for 3 hours. I don't run any plugins when recording and I've pretty much all of the recommended tweaks and fixes for MacOS. I think it could possibly be the FW drive I am using (details below) as when I swap the drive for an old Lacie one it runs fine. Here's the setup details

New Mac Mini
4GB Ram
OSX 10.5.6
2.14 Dual Core

Pro Tools LE 8.0.4

Digi 002 with Octopre Platinum (providing synch over optical)

G-Tech FW 800 Drive

The drive is bus powered if that can make a difference???

The chain I've have hooked up is [Mac mini--FW800--GTech--FW800to400--DIGI002]. I have tried swapping the chain round and it made things 10 times worse

As I say I've tried pretty much everything such as reformatting the drive, trashing preferences, turning Spotlight search thing off, Airport off, Bluetooth off and not a dicky bird.

Any help on this would be GREATLY appreciated as it's driving me nuts!!!!

Cheers
Dicky
