sounds like you may be experiencing the saame thing as I am... I have distortion in one channel only and I know for a fact that my record levels are good. I think it's a bug in 6.7 because it sated happening to me only after I installed 6.7 on my hard drive...
I called digi the first time it happened and they told me to trash my protools preferences from the library. This woreked but here i am a few days later and I have the same problem...
I've just trashed the plist protools prefernces.. here goes..
