well the minute Avid do support Monterey, they will drop official support for Mojave, as they seem to only support the three most recent OS versions.

Probably should have added to my original post that my current personal studio system is a 2018 Mac Mini 6-core i7 3.2GHz on Big Sur 11.6 running PT Ultimate 2021.7 through an RME interface and it is running better than any PT system I've ever used - no screen redraw lag problems or anything, probably because it was a completely fresh install from new and I didn't use any sort of migration assistant / time machine workflow to transfer old files and preferences. I only installed plug-in versions specifically stating that they were OS11 on Intel approved, with the exception of the older Exponential Audio reverbs - which I did last (and seem to be fine...).
