I tried this yesterday. I created a new session, and tried importing the session data from the "corrupted" session and it gave me the same error when choosing the session to import data from.

I can't seem to open the song at all, or import it's data to a new session.

I'll try importing the audio tracks into a new session tomorrow, instead of importing the session data.

Hopefully it's just an audio track and I have a good copy of it
