So did you have a perpetual license or a subscription? These are totally different things. It’s all unclear from what you are saying.

If all you had before was a subscription, you can’t renew a subscription like it was a perpetual license update/support plan, you need to just buy another subscription.

If you had a perpetual license and the update/support plan for that lapsed some time in the distant past (more than 30 days). There is no way currently through the Avid store to update/renew that update/support plan. You just missed out on a promotion that allowed you to do that. Ended December 31st. If you contact major/knowledgeable resellers like Vintage King they may have stock of that lapsed update/support renewal they can sell you. Make sure the person you deal with knows what they are doing and sells you the right magic update/renewal.

Nothing is $99, if you had a perpetual license with update/support plan that expired in the last 30 days the annual renewal on that is $199.
