Removing "Ph" and "S" sounds in vocals
I was trying to remove the "Ph" sound in a vocal track.I thought De-essar would do it for me.But I was not able to do so after experimenting with the various settings.Then I tried the Gate - Mono.I kept all the default settins and only changed the attack to 34ms.I was able to remove the "Ph" sound .My question is:
1) Am I doing right?Is this the only way.What you guys do in this situation?
2) How to remove the "s" sound?I am not able to remove it.Not with EQ, not with De essar and not with Gate.I know I do not know what parameter to adjust.
Please help .
