Default My MacBook DaveC test

I have a MacBook 1.83Ghz Dual Core Intel.

I wanted to run this infamous DaveC test with it.
I do not know if you still do it the same.

My song was 24/44 and I could do 32 Tracks + 20 Auxes with

Comp3-EQ3-Short Delay II-Med Delay II-Long Delay II

on each channel.

Play back engine was 256K buffer and Level2 default hard disk setting.

This looks like a lot of power.

I got disk usage error 9073 if I did 21 Auxes + 32 tracks.
However, 32Tracks+20auxes were fine.
My Firewire drive is a LaCie d2 triple interface.
Those drives do not have 2XFW400 connections to go out to Digi002R.
So, I had to use the USB2.0 connection.
I know it is not supported but those are the results I get with it.
I might get better results if I could use firewire disk.

Have you guys done this recently?

I personally do not think it is necessary to test the horse power for my home system anymore.
It is more than I will need I think.

I have HD 3 at the studio anyways.
