That's my thought as well. If they give me the perpetual license, they have a shot at getting my hooked on Ultimate and paying for it every year. They have no shot at getting me to shell out $2600 for the license. MY PT Vanilla is paid up through 2027. I bought multiple years @ $100 per when the price increase was announced a year ago or whenever that was. They won't see any money from me until then as it sits. They can change that and, I agree, it would be a smart business move.
