Default Re: Ring-modulated sound on playback when using Elastic Audio varispeed

There are only three warp anchors - one at the beginning and end, and one in the middle. If I play the warped audio, it plays fine until it gets to 2:49 (2 minutes 49 seconds in). Then, it makes a mild digital glitching sound that sounds like a digital clocking error which continues until I stop playback. If I stop playback there, and then re-start it from that location, it sounds fine until another 2:49 later, where it begins to glitch again.

In order to create a render of the warped audio, I set up a record bus and I have to stop and re-start playback every 2:49, then consolidate the regions.

The problem also occurs in realtime, or non-realtime (offline) bounces.

Thanks,

Ellis

I found this thread which seems to be describing my exact problem but in PT 12.4.0, although I'm not using any warp anchors with EA varispeed.
