After seeing PT 2021 was fully compatible, I went ahead with upgrading to Big Sur on my Intel Mac.
I am now experiencing two major problems when running sessions in PT:
1. Intense graphics lag & response time - as if my entire computer was running at 3 frames per second. VU meters are choppy, scrolling up and down the session is slow, as well as clicking through menu's. CPU meters don't appear to be maxing out, but that is how it feels.
2. I can no longer re-order any of the tracks in my session by way of drag and drop. I can move clips around fine, but tracks won't move in either Edit or Mix view.
I did a full manual re-install of PT (followed
these instructions ), I removed all third party plug-ins from plug-ins folder, and only thing left I can think of now is clean install of macOS, rather than upgrade.
Anyone else out there experienced any of these issues before?
