Folks,

I'm in the process of getting up to speed with Protools 10 (w/Eleven Rack). In order to learn the track paradigm I thought I'd start with importing a multi track midi file.

The import went fine and multiple tracks were created in my session; however, I noticed the midi track doesn't have an "Insert" control strip like the Instrument tracks to assign virtual instruments, i.e xpand2

Is there an easy way to convert a Midi track to an Instrument track so I can assign Virtual instruments to the track?
