Re: Why does file search destroy my machine?
Using the auto find and relink function has always been a real PITA. Figuring out how to do it manually and when to use relink by name and/or file id saves a helluva lotta time. I don't know why they never improved this but I don't think the process starts in the folders listed in the disk allocation. It probably starts crawling at the root of the first drive.
