I'd Reset the bios, like suggested, to default, re-format / Re-Install Windows SP-1, and try Pro-tools at that point, as you update, and install applications.... keep checking pro-tools, and if it crashes, you'll know where your conflict is.

I've had to do this before, and found that my GigaStudio was making my version of pro-tools crash.

If after a bios reset, fresh install of windows, pro tools is crashing still... right away, try the DEP fix, start pulling Ram.

Those are my suggestions, all of them were itterated above.... but this is where I'd start, and the order of things I'd do.
