I'm picking up a used
Faderport 16 tomorrow, to replace my ancient Command|8. I've enjoyed learning to use a control surface with PT the last couple of years, and together with SSL UC1 it's helped me mix better with less use of screen and mouse, more like we used to do 20+ years ago.
I'm hoping it will work as well as or better than commmand8. With more faders, maybe it will help with controlling plugins when I can see 16 parameters at once, and more info/characters on its LCD.
I've done my research, and I think I have it covered, that it will take the place of C8 pretty easily. Just posting this in case anyone has info or tips about anything I should be aware of. HUI still OK?
