So now you likely know as much as anybody about it. You could ask the other users reporting (post in their thread) this if they know a workaround, you might just try trashing prefs. (see info under "help us help you" up the top of every DUC web page)
You might also contact customer support (file an incident) and ask if they can tell you if this bug # is likely to be fixed soon or is being worked on. If nothing else just file the incident.
