Check eBay and newegg for an off-lease HP Elitebook 8440P. I have one of them I bought a couple of years back with an i7 and 8GB of RAM and it has firewire(the smaller connector) and it works fine with an Mbox 2 Pro and PT12.5(it cost me a little over $200). Mine even came with a drive caddy for a second hard drive(in place of the usual optical drive).
