You can convert Clip Gain to automation, then consolidate the audio
Doing this will remove the Clip Gain changes from the Clips(so healing will restore the audio back to what it originally was). You can also go the other way and convert volume automation to Clip Gain. I also would simply not heal the separation(unless you have some good reason why you need to)
