What problems are you having specifically?

First, move the Pro Tools session start so that the negative value is visible. You can move it until -1 or more; whatever you are comfortable with.

Then when importing the MIDI (File->Import->MIDI...), after selecting the file, under the "Location" dropdown, select "Spot" and then type in -1 for the start time.
