Good news everyone! I got ALL of the stuff back on my external drive. Apparently, the Win 7 install only FUBAR'd the drive's index. XP's drive repair utility was able to fix it. I feel sooooo much better now. Went back to running PT 7.4 and will continue to do so until if, and when Digi comes up with a fix for 8.
