Re: Unable to re-install PT8
For some strange reason Boom and Grand Piano did not come with my PT8 upgraded download. I first un installed PT8, and then tried to re install the PT8 installer for mac's from "MyDigi"account. I decided to try a second attemp on downloading it again in case something was wrong with the first download. I kept getting an error about the PT8 file .dmg extension, and it would say that it failed to mount. If i chose to continue, i would hit "skip" and then a re launch command would appear and i still would be unable to install it. I have a new , 2 gigs/320HD imac with Leopard and i updated the computer about 3 months ago. Not sure why the PT installer will not work?
