Thanks again for the reply.

I really think this is my mbox hardware as i have a pc running pro tools le also and when i plugged it into the windows pc it did exactly the same thing.

is there a way to completely reboot/reset the mbox?

Otherwise how long is the hardware warranty?

btw no non-intel plugs. I am sure as I only have digirack plugs on this version and they were all loaded with 7.1.1
