Knowing the specific BSOD message would help diagnose the problem. It may or may not be specific to Pro Tools.
I always like to run Memtest+ when ever I see a BSOD if just to eliminate bad memory.
I've seen BSOD errors once and a while after updating drivers, adding memory etc. Usually a reboot takes care of things and the error never returns. This is not common behavior and not something I would be overly concerned about. If however a certain program causes a BSOD on a consistent basis then some troubleshooting is in order. I'm not aware of anything in any of the 10.3.x updates causing a BSOD.
