What ever they changed (New Sample engine) for Kontakt now allows Battery 3 to work well in Pro Tools 8.
They(NI) are sooooo Sloooow to address their products. But, there is some light.
If you have K3, give it a whirl.

This is really interesting. Can anyone else confirm this? I threw out Kontakt2 a while ago but actually would love to be able to use Battery3 more. If it really helps, IŽd upgrade to K3.
