i love my mic, for vocals for sure but man, it casts a wide net, so i use it primarily as a drum over-head along with my akg 1000c. between them i get i nice mix and no phasing problems that i can hear. the only quibble i have with the oktava is it's lack of personality. but that may be because i am new and havent heard a wide cross section of condenser mics yet.
anyway, the price is right, they look cool and sound great if you use them right.
