In order to relink:
- click 'Manually Find & Relink'
- Point to the correct folder with the OMF audio files in it
- in the Linking Options window click 'Find by Name'
- UNCHECK 'Match Format' AND 'Match Duration' (you'll get a warning window just click ok)
- Select everything in the 'Files to Relink' box
- Click 'Find Links'
- Give it a minute and all the files will have that little orange link chain icon appear, then click 'Commit Links'

The other options if you want embedded OMFs but are running up to the 2GB max are to split the film into reels, **or** split the film into horizontal slices (so tracks 1 & 2 are in OMF A, tracks 3 - 6 are in OMF B, etc etc).

Or go the AAF route, which can embed files larger than 2GB.

Hope this helps.
This. Never had a problem if I follow Leverson's method.
