Not in front of it right now, but there is a way. You have to open the media folder in the relink window and use the 'find all candidates' button to link them in groups and then hit the orange buttons manually. It's a PITA, but it can be done in 20 minutes or so.
Honestly, if it's a big mix I would request multiple embedded OMFs. Premiere is terrible with the non-embedded OMF.
