justus1900, I know this is an older post, but I'm having this issue with PT MP 8.0.5 on a Windows 7 laptop.. Worked a couple hours in a Mastering Template I made up, and after doing a mix on the next session, I went to open the Mastering Template only to get the message " Playback engine does not support sample rate of 96kHz" If you're out there Justus1900, you mention you unclicked two Tabs in the Sound Engine for Windows 7, rebooted, and all was well.. Might you direct to the tabs you were talking about? Also, could there be a setting in the session I was mixing before I went to open the Mastering template that could cause this to happen?
