Do you have another PT12 version handy as maybe try 12.4 or 12.5 for instance.
Did you have an older version of PT12 before you installed the 12.7.1?
And not to be an azz but that computer will give you lots of issues moving on as PT12 Need 8GB or higher to function correctly. And a c2d will also be an issue.
You also need a separate harddrive for recording to and both internal drive and the second drive NEED to be atleast 7200rpm or SSD drives. 5400rpm will never do anything possitive for you.
