Hey guys, just looking for abit of advice here..

I'm hoping to buy a PowerMac G5 as soon as the 'expected updates' become reality.

I'm currently running a PC with 2 HDD, one for Windows (boooooo) and one for Audio.

I was wondering if Macs also run PT better if the Audio is on a seperate disk to the Operating System.

If so, would you advice an extra internal SATA drive, or an external FireWire drive?

I think FireWire might be the best bet as i will need to transfer my files to Uni to check them out in the proper studios.

If you can suggest any specific drives that work well, or offer any advice that will help me, that'd b realy great.
