Not even close, sorry. Not to mention also that the very major point of HDX is being able to track with extremely low latency, even though plugins if needed which UAD-2 cannot do.

The UAD-2 accelerator cards only has 8 chips on them, whith no mention of their clock speed (hense power) while the HDX has 18 dsp chip at 350 mhz. Even if you had the strongest sharc chip at 450 mhz that still only gives you a 3600 mhz cumulative speed vs the 6300 mhz cumulative speed for HDX. That's almost twice the speed/power right there, probably more since you can't really calculate things there as the amount of physical ram on the cards can have a drastic effects. And it's very hard to actually do a proper comparison because there's absolutely no information what so ever about which sharc chip is used and what's the inboard memory available per card.

After that you have to factor in the fact that the HDX cards offers 64 simultaneous inputs, the UAD-2 octo cards offers 0.

So while a single card is 1500$ it's still far underpowered and under-featured vs the HDX card, from what can be determined at the moment.
