Re: firewire cable length
Recently purchased a 10m "special" firewire cable to connect my Digi 002 straight to my G5. Pro Tools wouldn't even start - just got a message saying "Pro Tools hardware is either not installed or is being used by another program".
If anyone has any suggestions for workarounds/tests I could give them a try, but I'm guessing the cable is just too long - Pro Tools works fine with my "normal" cable which came with the 002.
