It might not be the editor doing something different, it could come down to different versions of Resolve. Ideally if you have several editors on the same show they'll be on the same version but you never know.
First thing to try is removing all audio transitions. That definitely should not be required but it has been an issue in the past.
The Pro Tools export preset should work but it might be worth trying an Avid AAF export as well.
