I don't know whether its because I'm Australian and we don't tend to have the same kind of sales as the US, but I've noticed myself there is never really much good relating to hardware going on sale for good price. Which is kind of disappointing really.
Sure you can find token things like guitar strings or, old stock getting marked down slightly, but nothing really decent or actually useful... except maybe those guitar strings.
I really need a new set of headphones and an external SSD, but I doubt it will happen. Nonetheless I will hold off to the last moment before buying something else. Actually our equivalent of Black Friday is really Boxing Day Sales which last till New Years. The sales are usually better then, but, again, not with the hardware.
