Ah yes...LLM. The manual is pretty clear about LLM mode disabling sends and plugins on any track that is in record ready(you can tell as the little "buttons" that represent sends and plugins go blue). BTW, when they are inactive, they go grey. Let the learning begin

If you hate reading manuals, try searching youtube for "pro tools and ________(insert issue here)" without the quotes as there are lots of tutorials(some better than others). Another great source of videos is pro-tool-expert.com(toss them a donation as it will be well worth it).
