882/Studio will work with version 3.4 DAE/DSI on a nubus mac.

There is a resedit hack that will allow PT 5.0 to boot on a nubus mac with dae/dsi 3.4

So it is possible to run an 882/Studio on a nubus mac with PT 5.

I found that I could only use 3 of the 4 front panel mic pre's.

I also used 2 882/Studio on an expanded PTIII nubus system. But the second interface only allowed for basic in/out like the 882. No headphones or other features. There may have been other bugs that I can't recall.

An 882/Studio is different than an 882 and won't be recognized above DAE 3.4
