Craig..

I didn't even think about that. When i upgraded yesterday to the subscription on the education store (i'm a lecturer at a recording school), i just got the PT12 upgrade. There isn't a HD option there..

I'll check that out in a sec. But surely that wouldn't exclude me from accessing my HD hardware? I access the HD hardware with a non HD version of Pro Tools occasionally with no problem..
