Random start point when recording using sync (MMC)
Hi,
I've synced PT to Cubase 4 on two separate computers (both PCs) via MIDI. When I switch PT online and enable MMC in the transport (bottom left) I cannot record arm (that's supposed to be like that, I guess). When I switch PT online, select transport=protools, record enable and hit play, my counter jumps to bar 359|3|848 and starts recording. On Cubase it jumps to 357, but doesn't start playback. I have put in a start time of 1|1|000. Whatever I change, it still jumps to bar 357. I'm sure the solution is very simple and I'm missing something obvious. I can't seem to figure it out though. I hope somebody can help me.
I'm new to this forum, so perhaps I've missed a post about this topic (though I couldn't find it). In that case, please revert me to that topic.
