Okay, I'll do $850.
Just so there's no confusion as this moves along, I have to submit paperwork and a $40 payment to AVID to get the transfer started. They call it their "Transfer of Ownership Process." I have no idea how long it will take them to get it done on their end. I suspect it's at least a week or two. I haven't heard anyone say more than that but on the site AVID does say, "Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Avid is experiencing a significant uptick in customer requests. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we work diligently to meet our customers’ needs."
I have no control over it once it's in AVID's hands. When they complete the transfer, they'll send an email to both of us. Let me know what payment method you're most comfortable using. I have Paypal and Venmo.
In case the reason I'm selling matters, I bought a Carbon and it came with a perpetual Ultimate license (promo they ran) which I'll be using going forward.
