You can input each of your audio channels to your Mackie mixer before sending them out of the mixer to the 003R. You can use the Mackie as a control room monitor controller, and send it to multiple sets of speakers.

But what, really, do you hope to gain? Having multiple analog input and output stages will likely deteriorate the signal quality. You can use the EQ on the Mackie if you want, but once it goes out of the Mackie and into the 003R, you can't undo that EQ.

You have more control inside Protools than you ever will with the Mackie.

One thing you CAN do, is to use the mic preamps on the Mackie, and output each to a different AUX send, and then into input 5-8 on the 003R, the TRS only inputs--giving you 8 analog mic inputs at a time into the 003R.
