Default Re: Trying build my system and having troubles

Since you have the PT 11 license, I would at least try it, but if you have already installed, I would uninstall and start fresh(why, in a minute). For now, leave out the Control 24 and Nyrinck to make troubleshooting easier. To uninstall with Windows 10, Right-click Start and select Apps and features. In that window, select Programs and features(upper right), find Avid Pro Tools, right-click and select Change. Then, select the bottom option to remove Pro Tools, the HD Driver and everything else.

Now, assuming iLok Manger is installed, open the main folder for Pro Tools 11 and find the Setup.exe file, right-click on it and look for option on installing for Windows 7 compatibility. That may help with installing on Windows 10. If you get a message that the installer wants to install iLok(even though its already installed), just let it do that.
