I’m assuming you also hit the “Retry” button …
Could be a corrupt installer – try downloading it again directly from your Avid Master Account

At the end of your next Pro Tools 2021.6 install, tick the box to “Show the Windows Installer log” location – this one’s called: “AvidProTools2021.6 Install – Notepad”
You can save it anywhere – or here:
C:\Program Files\Avid\Pro Tools\LogFiles
Uninstall your existing Pro Tools 2021.6 and everything that came with it (sort by date to view in Windows Programs & Features) - and remove the Avid 2021.6 stock plug-ins from the AAX 64 folder
Run CCleaner, then in CCleaner’s Registry section, scan for issues (save backups when prompted) – might take 3 or 4 scans before “no issues found”
Restart computer
Go offline – disable Network
Disable any anti-virus/background apps/etc.
Install (a fresh download of) Pro Tools 2021.6
Restart computer
As I don't use them - I uninstall FB360 Spatial Workstation and remove the 5 @ FB360 Spatial Workstation plug-ins from the AAX folder - I also uninstall Cloud Client Services - I run Avid Link once to check for any plug-in updates, then uninstall it, too
Restart computer
Launch Pro Tools
Pro Tools 2021.6 is working fine here and elsewhere on Windows 10 - for better advice, if you're still hitting a brick wall ... post a free SiSoft Sandra Lite report ... reckon it's well worth persevering to have both Pro Tools and SO5 - seems like it's "the best of both worlds"!
