Thanks DetroitT,
I tried your advice but it did not work. I am still having the exact same issue. I emailed Avid but it will likely take a while for them to get back with me. In the meantime I thought I would uninstall Pro Tools ( again) and install 2019. I'm hearing the latest 2020 version is buggy, so maybe this is part of its "bugginess". Any other tips or advice will be greatly appreciated!!
