Not necessarily as I have a firewire Mbox 2 Pro running on Windows 11 with PT Intro(not the very latest, but the previous version, maybe 2023.3?) and it works fine. I can even route Windows audio thru it, BUT I need to reboot to switch between PT and Windows audio(once one program takes control, the other cannot until a reboot). Plus, I am running off a VIA FW port on the motherboard(and older x58 ASUS board). I fully expected it to not work, but it does
