Are you sure PT being limited to 4gb is a benefit? If the plugins use that allotted 4gb amount with protools, then that's not so good. I would rather have the plugins use ram outside of that amount. Some of my plugins are rewire capable, but not all. I have reason which is. However, superior, addictive drums, trilian... all those are not and unfortunately are memory hogs.

I can't do ram cache either. I don't have the complete production tool kit unfortunately.
